Business Analyst - Insurance (Entry to Senior Level)

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for insurance-related systems and processes.
  • Conduct gap analysis, case studies, and blueprint development to support system enhancements and new implementations.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with IT and development teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet business expectations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • 2-8 years of experience in business analysis, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • Exposure to life, general, or health insurance domains is a plus.
  • Experience with policy, claims, or finance systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
