Business Analyst - Insurance

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to insurance products and services.
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements, process flows, and use cases.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
  • Support project planning, execution, and delivery within insurance-related initiatives.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with business and technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards in insurance projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance domain.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes (e.g., underwriting, claims, policy administration).
  • Experience with business process modeling, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with insurance software platforms or core systems.
  • Immediate availability preferred
