Business Analyst - (3 yrs exp, Financial services)

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
  • Develop test cases and execute manual testing to validate system functionality, data accuracy, and user experience.
  • Identify and report bugs or inconsistencies, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by coordinating test activities and validating business scenarios.
  • Assist in process mapping, gap analysis, and recommending improvements to existing workflows.
  • Prepare functional specifications, user guides, and training materials as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to manual testing.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, system workflows, and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools; familiarity with testing tools is a plus.
