Automation QA Engineer (3-8 years) - contract renewable

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate should be an experienced Automation QA analyst . Working with a team of seasoned professionals, the successful candidate will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test cases that effectively cover all functional aspects of the application.
  • Execute automatedtest suites and analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the QA team to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for both new features and regression testing.
  • Identify and prioritize test cases for automation based on their complexity, business impact, and frequency of execution.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage, execution speed, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
  • Monitor and maintain test environments, ensuring they are up-to-date and properly configured for accurate test execution.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues encountered during test execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices related to automation testing and TypeScript.


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automation testing, specifically using JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Newman.
  • Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
