VP, Client & Sales Management & Strategy, Commercial Banking
Our client is a leading international banking group with an expanding Commercial Banking business in Hong Kong. As part of a strategic growth, a newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced Client and Sales Management professional to join the team, based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Head of Client & Sales Management, you will be a senior member of the team focusing on Sales Management and Client Coverage related strategies, business modelling, portfolio analytics, product management, client segmentation work. You will perform business analytics to identify opportunities within different client segments and coverage teams and will assist in driving sales / business development initiatives to support growth. The analytics work will also include compiling and analysing internal and external data, market trends and competitor analysis. On the products side, you will form strong synergy between the products and relationship management teams to design new and innovative propositions. With a large client base, you will also have strong focus on client segmentation work, re-modelling the business and clients coverage teams to keep up with the changing segment and market trends.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- University degree
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in client strategy, business strategy, client segmentation analysis, sales management, portfolio analysis, gained from Banking industry
- Experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking and / or Retail Banking with SME Banking coverage
- Familiar with products like trade finance, FX, lending, liquidity management
- Strong presentation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English. Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin would be beneficial
