UX/UI Designer - Financial Services

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences across web and mobile platforms for financial products and services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define user requirements and translate them into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and improve user journeys.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and comply with financial industry regulations.
  • Advocate for design best practices and contribute to the evolution of the design system.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative design culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design process and impactful user experiences.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and front-end development principles.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing for complex financial products (e.g., insurance, banking, wealth management).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards in financial services.
  • Knowledge of design systems and component-based design approaches.
