Trading & Logistics Support Specialist

Job description

Our client is a large, well‑established international consumer goods organisation with extensive global trading and logistics operations. To support its regional business activities, the company is looking to appoint a Trading & Logistics Support Specialist to manage end‑to‑end trade documentation, shipment coordination, and operational support across import/export activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle full sets of import and export documentation, including trade declarations and banking documents (L/C, D/P)
  • Prepare and manage purchase and sales contracts accurately and in a timely manner
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to follow up on orders, logistics arrangements, and payment status
  • Prepare regular shipment and operations reports, tracking shipment progress and outstanding payments
  • Perform data entry and issue operational documents using ERP systems

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Business, Logistics, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in operations, shipping, or trade‑related roles
  • Solid experience handling Letters of Credit (L/C) is essential
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin proficiency required
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and Chinese word processing
  • Detail‑oriented, well‑organised, able to multitask and work independently
