Textile Sourcing Manager

Our client is a leading international retail and sourcing organization with a global supply chain network across Asia and emerging markets. To corporate with thei business needs, the business is strengthening its procurement governance and strategic execution capabilities to drive efficiency, agility, and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the central control tower overseeing sourcing execution across regions
• Translate sourcing strategies and budgets into actionable execution plans
• Align product requirements with internal teams and external sourcing partners
• Allocate production across countries based on cost, risk, and capacity
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective action when needed
• Consolidate and validate product samples to meet technical and commercial standards
• Manage development timelines and ensure on‑time production delivery
• Analyse cost structures and support margin optimisation initiatives
• Lead partner governance, including performance reviews and continuous improvement
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to drive seamless execution from strategy to delivery

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines
• Solid experience in global sourcing/ merchandising/ supply chain operations
• Strong exposure to multi‑country sourcing (e.g. China, Southeast Asia, South Asia)
• Proven track record managing complex supplier networks and external partners
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and production processes
• Demonstrated ability in cost analysis, margin management, and negotiation support
• Experience operating in a matrix environment with cross‑functional stakeholders
• Strong analytical mindset with structured problem‑solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High adaptability with ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
