Technology Risk & Compliance Specialist - Investment Banking - Hong Kong

Key responsibilities

• You will design and implement risk management framework to ensure regulatory & operational risks are identified, properly assessed, mitigated and recorded
• You will develop risk mitigating measures, controls and adequate remediation plans
• You will coordinate with business partners & compliance colleagues across the bank to assess the risks of new technologies adoption
• You will devise policies & procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and alignment with industry best practice
• You will create presentation deck to raise awareness & update key stakeholders on latest Data & Digital related regulations, circulars, guidelines & news
• You will prepare periodic management reporting and assist in adhoc projects/assignments if required

Hiring requirements

• Degree or above with major in Computer Science, Data Science, Risk Management related discipline
• 7+ years in compliance, control or risk related role
• Good knowledge of the banking industry (preferably investment banking related) and local regulatory requirements
• Experienced in: reviewing external contracts/agreements/SOW, assessing risk (e.g. operational, strategic, technology risk) and providing mitigation approaches accordingly, analysing business process and regulatory changes
• Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin would be advantageous
