Tax Specialist (US listed, 1 year contract, HKD50k up)

Job Description

Our client is a US listed technology company with a strong global presence. With their rapidly growing business, they are looking for a Tax Specialist to support their global finance team.

You will be responsible for:

• Liaise with tax representatives and vendor on tax matters
• Post journals for quarterly tax provisions and approve estimated payments for APAC/EMEA entities
• Deal with queries with authority relating to worldwide income and VAT, GST and misc. taxes
• Maintain an inventory of the various US GAAP to local country GAAP and Local country GAAP to Local country tax adjustments and report balances to corporate tax department
• Liaise with US HQ and ensure compliance of accounting reporting information
• Assist US tax team in driving transfer pricing planning, execution and reporting
• Responsible for ad-hoc tax projects

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting and Finance
• At least 3 years of tax work experiences, Big 4 is preferred
• Familiar with US accounting conventions and US GAAP
• Self-motivated, proactive, problem solving skills and able to work independently
• Speaks fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
