System Analyst, Insurance, 60k

Our client is a leading insurance company. This role supports business goals through technology by improving processes and system efficiency. It involves analyzing requirements, enhancing existing systems, and implementing new solutions.

Job Duties

• Analyze business needs, workflows, and current systems
• Design and enhance systems to improve efficiency and performance
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend suitable IT solutions
• Support system development, including coding, testing, and documentation
• Implement new systems or enhancements aligned with business goals
• Ensure system stability and adopt up-to-date technologies where appropriate
• Provide day-to-day system support and troubleshoot issues
• Investigate technical problems and deliver cost-effective solutions
• Respond to user enquiries and provide technical guidance
• Deliver user training on systems and tools
• Research new technologies and recommend improvements
• Manage and monitor small to medium-sized IT projects
• Ensure systems and deliverables meet internal standards and guidelines
• Support junior team members and coordinate with external vendors
• Assist with any additional tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience, experience in the insurance industry is preferred
• Strong understanding of the full system development lifecycle
• Solid experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate

• Experience with cloud platforms and modern tools is a plus

  e.g. Microsoft Azure, document processing, or AI tools
• Knowledge of web technologies and APIs is an advantage
• Familiar with Agile ways of working
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaborate with different stakeholders
• Good command of Chinese and English
