Snr Finance Manager / AFC - Property

We are partnering with a well-established property platform to hire a Senior Finance Manager / Assistant Financial Controller for a key property portfolio. This is a high-impact role offering extensive exposure to senior stakeholders, supporting financial operations across asset development and ongoing portfolio management.

The position will be reporting to senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of financial management across a sizeable property portfolio. This role combines hands-on accounting responsibility with strategic oversight, business partnering, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounting and lead daily finance operations across assigned entities/portfolio
• Drive management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth financial analysis
• Monitor asset performance and provide actionable insights to senior management
• Manage invoicing cycles, payment processes, and complex intercompany transactions
• Partner closely with leasing, asset management, and property management teams
• Coordinate with regional/internal finance teams to ensure alignment and reporting accuracy
• Support business activities including leasing, sales transactions, and operational performance tracking
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, with scope to scale the team

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, with CPA or equivalent qualification
• Big 4 experience strongly preferred
• 10-12 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, ideally within property developers, real estate platforms, or REIT environments
• Strong technical expertise in full-set accounting and multi-entity finance operations
• Experience handling complex reporting structures and stakeholder environments
• Strong business partnering, leadership, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
