Job Responsibilities

  • Examine operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and pain points across teams
  • Break down unclear or complex situations into defined issues, priorities, and actionable steps
  • Rebuild workflows and processes across functions to create more efficient future-state operations
  • Design scalable ways of working that enhance alignment, clarity, and decision effectiveness
  • Question existing practices and identify opportunities to improve how the organisation operates
  • Bring together different functions to align on priorities, decisions, and ways of execution
  • Facilitate working sessions and discussions to move initiatives forward
  • Assess trade-offs, interdependencies, and broader organisational impact of initiatives
  • Simplify complex topics into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Influence stakeholders across teams without relying on hierarchical authority
  • Collaborate with digital and business teams to improve workflows, integration, and transparency
  • Contribute to the design of scalable, tech-enabled processes and decision-support tools
  • Identify ways to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve coordination
  • Ensure business needs are clearly translated into practical and effective solutions
  • Support teams in transitioning to new processes and operating models
  • Encourage adoption of improved workflows and decision-making practices
  • Build strong relationships across functions to drive transformation initiatives
  • Promote a culture focused on accountability, clarity, and adaptability

Job Duties

  • Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in transformation, process improvement, or operational strategy roles
  • Proven ability to lead and contribute to cross-functional change initiatives
  • Hands-on experience redesigning processes and improving organisational effectiveness at scale
  • Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and moving parts
  • Exposure to working alongside technology or digital teams to drive change
  • Background in areas such as sourcing, retail, supply chain, or operations is beneficial
  • Strong structured thinking and logical reasoning
  • Able to quickly grasp unfamiliar domains, workflows, and organisational setups
  • Systems-oriented mindset, connecting processes, behaviours, and outcomes
  • Comfortable working in unclear or evolving situations without needing step-by-step guidance
  • Skilled at turning complex ideas into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Willing to challenge assumptions constructively and go beyond surface-level analysis
  • High level of ownership, independence, and accountability
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
