Senior Java Developer, investment bank, 65k

Job duties

• Analysis, design and development of new integration projects in a Unix and Windows environment
• Producing detailed functional and design specifications
• Conducting systems testing and supporting user acceptance testing
• Liaising with users from all areas and with other ITD teams including IT Governance, IT Support and IT Infrastructure

Requirements

• At least 8 -10 years of experience in IT field with hands on development experience
• Strong in Java 8, Java 11, OOP, AOP, JAXB, XML, XSLT, JSON, YAML, Shell Scripting
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge
• Strong problem-solving skills - able to think clearly under pressure
• Self-motivated with a keen interest in gaining investment banking experience
• Ability to constructively influence other departments and individuals
