Our client is one of the First Tier Global Retail Bank in Hong Kong and they have been aggressively expanding the business across the world in past years. They invest highly in IT and amplify their services and solutions through the innovative application of technologies, delivering a comprehensive range of products and services in meeting changing customer needs. They are currently hiring for a Senior Fintech Lead/ Innovation Manager to join their innovation team and work on internal start-up projects. The right candidate will be responsible for driving the Fintech innovation and Startup strategy. S/he has to promote cultural change toward the startup way of work and to drive adaption of Fintech/technologies on business innovation. It is also important to manage the business relationship with external Fintech/Startup communities and partners and advocate collaborations with various internal functions and departments to drive initiatives. Candidates who are open to new challenges will be suitable for the role as this is a greenfield project and s/he will be able to work on the latest technology, eg cloud, blockchain, big data etc.
The ideal candidate will process the following requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 10-12 years working experience of which 5 years in managerial level from recognized establishments in financial services and/or Fintech related disciplines
- In-depth knowledge on business and operation models of Banking, with a thorough understanding of the local regulatory environment
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Agile project development and management framework
- Familiar with the latest market and technology trend and strong track record in commercializing and operationalizing innovative business and operating models
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, communication skills and quality orientation
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, Putonghua speaking is an advantage
- Solid experience in managing big scale project teams. Cross-country team management is an added advantage.
