Senior Finance Manager

Our client is a HK listed manufacturing with production sites in Greater China and Asia. They are currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join their team in Hong Kong HQ.

Reporting to the Head of Finance and President of the business unit in Hong Kong , you will lead a remote team based in China. Sitting at the corporate level, you will act as a bridge between group finance function and the business unit, you will deep dive into the BU's operations and processes, overseeing monthly management reports, P&L as well as providing recommendations on investment activities. This role will see you taking a lead role in their M&A projects, evaluate business proposals and providing sound financial advice on Asia-wide strategic initiatives. Another key part of your role is to manage the international trade with overseas customers, ensuring smooth running of product shipment. This is an exciting role where you will be very much an integral part of the business and operations, learning from the front line whilst gaining excellent exposure to the leadership team.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Degree holder and qualified accountant
• Minimum 12 years of financial management experience
• Expert in investment appraisals and analytics, coupled with strong controllership
• Previous experiences in Merger & Acquisition projects is highly preferred
• Prior exposure to the Greater China market and Manufacturing sector is a must
• Ability to evaluate the business from both macro and micro perspectives
• Willingness to travel around Greater China and Asia once permitted
• Good command of both Chinese and English
