Senior Business Intelligence Engineer / BI Lead (Power BI)

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer / BI Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale analytics solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, business intelligence, and strategy, supporting senior stakeholders with actionable insights and scalable reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of enterprise BI dashboards, delivering a centralized and trusted view of business performance
  • Design and optimize scalable ETL/data pipelines for large datasets (100M+ records), ensuring reliability and performance
  • Develop and maintain semantic data models with advanced DAX optimization techniques
  • Establish BI governance standards to enhance dashboard performance, usability, and adoption
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Retail Operations, Product, and IT to define metrics and drive data-driven decisions
  • Translate complex requirements into scalable analytics solutions and actionable insights
  • Promote best practices in BI engineering, including data modeling, documentation, and QA processes
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership
  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting automation and analytics capabilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, DAX, and ETL frameworks
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and large-scale data processing
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and driving business impact through analytics
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading BI initiatives and mentoring team members
