Our client who is a building control service provider targeting commercial, data centre and infrastructure like airport is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager for tender opportunities. This organization has a robust client connections thus requiring the job incumbent to reach out and funnel the leads. Reporting to the General Manager, you will

  • Develop, execute and review sales strategy and go-to-market plan for achieving sales targets, financial goals, and future business development
  • Lead sales teams, drive development of new sales opportunities and growth initiatives
  • Strengthen supplier and sub-contractor partnership
  • Lead and manage the project teams to achieve project objectives including planning, design, monitoring and controlling of progress and resources, ensure projects completion within budget and time frame and to the satisfaction of clients
  • Monitor the agreed targets for key commercial and operating parameters such as safety, quality, productivity, operating costs, capital expenditures and profit margin
  • Ensure a sound system of internal controls, both administrative and financial, is in place to achieve a proper functioning of the business and safeguard the values and principles of the company with the highest integrity and compliance upheld
  • Provide sales performance, financial performance, project status update, market trend and information to the management in a timely manner

To qualify, you will have

  • University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering plus at least 10 years' relevant working experience on engineering projects

  • Proven sales and commercial experience in Electrical & Mechanical, and Building Services projects/services

  • Good business networks and experience in managing key stakeholders, e.g. end-users, consultants & specifiers, supplier, contractor and sub-contractors

  • Good leadership and business skill to drive business growth

  • Good people management skills for managing both internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Responsible with self-directed ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while able to deliver high quality work under tight timeline

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Corporate Member of HKIE or equivalent qualification from other recognized engineering professional bodies would be an added advantage
