Senior Accountant, Stock Management (MNC Retail)

Our client is a leading global retail company with footprints across multiple continents. We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join them. This role will focus on stock management and control, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting related to inventory. The position partners closely with store operations and finance leadership to strengthen governance and support business performance.

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee stock take processes across retail stores, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Perform variance analysis between physical stock and system records, investigating discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with store managers and operations teams to improve stock control procedures and minimize shrinkage.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly inventory reports, supporting management in decision‑making and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies in all stock‑related transactions.
• Support ad‑hoc projects related to inventory management, system enhancements, and process optimization.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or FMCG with strong exposure to stock management.
• Solid knowledge of inventory control and reconciliation processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese & Mandarin.
