(Senior) Accountant, MNC

We are partnering with a reputable multinational corporation to hire an Accountant / Senior Accountant for its regional finance team. This role offers broad exposure across accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations, with the opportunity to work closely with local and regional stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.

Responsibilities

    • Handle daily accounting operations and support month-end and year-end closing activities
    • Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, accounting schedules, and management reports
    • Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
    • Manage accounts payable activities and ensure timely and accurate payment processing
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders, regional finance teams, and external service providers
    • Support statutory audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies

Requirements

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
    • Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or shared services functions
    • Experience in month-end closing, AP, GL, or financial reporting
    • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Good command of spoken and written English
    • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
    • Candidates with more extensive accounting experience may be considered for a Senior Accountant position
