Repair Service Lead

Our client is a global industrial products organization with a strong reputation for product quality, technical expertise, and customer support. The Hong Kong team plays an important role in delivering after-sales service excellence while supporting regional operational improvement initiatives across Greater China.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of service technicians, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
  • Oversee daily repair and maintenance operations, ensuring service quality, productivity, and efficiency targets are achieved.
  • Drive cost control and operational effectiveness through reduction of repair failures and process inefficiencies.
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members to strengthen technical capabilities and support career development.
  • Monitor performance indicators and implement actions to improve quality, turnaround time, and operational results.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service workflows and workshop productivity.
  • Partner closely with Customer Service, Logistics, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to enhance customer experience.
  • Act as a process expert, supporting regional projects and operational excellence initiatives across Greater China.
  • Participate in process enhancement projects, pilot programs, and best-practice implementation activities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • >5 years of experience in repair, maintenance, service operations, or related functions, with prior team leadership experience.
  • Solid understanding of repair processes, technical documentation, diagnostics, testing, and service workflows.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality management practices.
  • Proven track record in driving operational excellence and improving service performance.
  • Strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to lead change and influence teams.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
  • Open to occasional regional travel when required.
