Regulatory Reporting Specialist (Up to 45k/ Contract)

As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist, you are responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Prepare HKMA regulatory returns and perform the required regulatory monitoring for the entities covered by Hong Kong Country Finance
• Ensure timely and accurate submission to the regulators and other statutory organization
• Establish and implement the required front to back controls ensuring our submissions are materially correct
• Support ad-hoc queries from the regulator, Country Management and Regional Finance
• Plan and coordinate the annual audit activities with the auditor working closely with other infrastructure function
• Initiate and implement changes to improve regulatory reporting processes

To qualify, individual must possess:

• Professional accountant qualification preferably with audit experience
• Hands-on experience with local regulatory reporting and/or head office reporting
• Experience in Alteryx, Power Query would be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
