Regional Sales Manager, Lifestyle Brand

About the client and the opportunity :

Our client is a consumer lifestyle brand and a global employer. A new additional Regional Sales Manager headcount has been added due to excellent year on year revenue growth results. This role is about managing and building strong rapport with existing distributors and developing online business throught the distributors for South East Asian markets. In particular, you will

  • Select requirements used for screening potential retail partners, distributors and/or online market places. Apply pre-determined criteria during selection process & help negotiating distributors/ online market places contract per territory
  • Drive sales locally through distributors/online market places like Lazada or Shopee to achieve and exceed an annual plan based on sales, margin and profit for each market
  • Work closely with product marketing to drive together marketing activation on all 4-P's - product mix, pricing strategy, distribution, promotions and campaigns
  • Plan and execute new product launches
  • Conduct sales analysis and report sales, margin and profit or other key performance indicator on a regular basis
  • Check brand and in-store compliance and ensure the implementation of agreed activity
  • Provide training, relevant presentations and support materials to the distributors and online market places
  • Collect competitor information, including pricing, new launch information and competitors' marketing activations

About the requirements :

  • Bachelor degree or above, preferably in business, communications or economics
  • 5+ years of regional distributor sales or e-commerce experience, preferably within consumer goods, FMCG also welcome
  • Great knowledge of SEA markets and proven success operating in them
  • Agile responding to market change, adopt to the change of channels and consumer behaviors
  • Great leadership, business acumen combined with strong influencing skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, commercial sense and results driven
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English. Mandarin at business level is a plus
