Regional Sales Manager (Distributor Mgt) - MNC B2C

Our client is a leading MNC consumer electronics product company with an aggressive business expansion plan in the APAC market. It is a European organisation with 180,000+ employees worldwide and one of the fast-growing brands in its sector. With the current expansion plan, they are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join the team to maximise the business opportunity.

Based in HK, you will be responsible for the Sales and Distributor Management for the Asia Pacific Regions. As a Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with business partners, managing, selecting distributors, and taking ownership of the total business development strategy for the business
  • Developing & implementing regional business, sales & marketing strategies, including budget planning & control
  • Reviewing and negotiating terms and contracts with different distributors, identifying growth areas, and driving sustainable growth
  • Collaborating with the management team to identify and recommend processes and systems to drive measurable enhancement in key performance metrics - sales, quality, profitability etc.
  • Develop and implement market-tailored product, channel and pricing strategies to maximise product and channel performance
  • Closely partnering with Marketing, creating and implementing effective data-driven marketing strategies to grow brand awareness and channel sell-thru.
  • Collaborating with the senior management team to design trade strategy, identify new business partners, sales channels and e-commerce
  • Formulating multi-year plans with a good understanding of each market's needs and regional market dynamics
  • Partnering with the internal key stakeholders and vendors to drive SOP for the sales training regularly
  • Initiating and managing the implementation of the all-round sales strategy

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree and have 10+ years of core Regional Sales and Distributor Management experience in the consumer electronics/ home appliance product sector
  • Experience in regional business expansion management with a proven track record in leading new business development strategy
  • Strong network of wholesalers/distributors in APAC and have a proven track record managing the business partner independently
  • Solid experience in regional business expansion management with a hands-on approach
  • Excellent project management skills with a strong commercial sense and result-oriented mindset
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is a MUST
