Our client is an international luxury fashion retailer with a well established and growing brand. Hong Kong office acts as the headquarter of APAC region. To support the operation of APAC countries, they are now keen to hire a Regional Merchandising/ Buying Manager focusing luxury leather goods to join the regional merchandising team in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will gather information and analyse & evaluate local market trends and potential opportunities. You will develop the 4 seasonal merchandising plan and strategy each year to fit in different local markets. You will communicate closely with headquarter and give feedback on local market trends. You will work closely with Training, Marketing and Visual Merchandising in product launches coordination. This is a rare opportunity for candidates with solid buying/merchandising experiences in luxury retail to join the growing company.
To qualify, individuals should possess:
- Bachelor degree or above
- At least 8 years buying/merchandising experience in luxury retail
- Experience in working on leather goods items will be a great advantage
- Good command in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
