About the Role:
- Build an APAC product mix that matches the Global brand goals and local needs, focused on the customer.
- Run category and franchise plans to hit APAC sales volume targets.
- Create a product line that fits the APAC market.
- Improve styles and SKUs: remove repeated styles, cut low-value models, and follow "fewer, bigger, better."
- Work closely with all APAC market teams so they understand the plan, priorities, and milestones-and have what they need.
- Start, manage, and oversee SMU programs, keeping them aligned with brand, business goals, and seasonal timing.
- Lead forecast reviews and buy approval meetings with regional merchants and market leaders.
- Run end-of-season reviews with Planning to spot what worked, what didn't, and risks/opportunities for next season. Share insights with Global teams.
- Attend major Global meetings and speak for the region.
- Present seasonal product line plans and explain the strategy, main product areas (franchises), and top business goals.
- Work with other teams on seasonal photoshoots when needed, making sure the product story and goals are clear.
- Maintain strong relationships local teams across APAC.
About the Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years of experience in product merchandising/planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Sports and casual (multi-sport) buying experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of global consumer trends, market changes, and key competitors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Strong people skills; able to influence at all levels.
- Good teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
