About the Role:
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with brand's vision and market trends.
- Collaborate with the global merchandising team to ensure consistency in product offerings and brand messaging.
- Lead the range-building process by analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to curate a compelling product assortment.
- Work closely with design and product development teams to ensure the product range meets regional demands.
- Conduct thorough analysis of sales performance and inventory levels to create optimal assortment plans that maximize sales and minimize markdowns.
- Coordinate with retail partners to ensure alignment on assortment strategies and promotional activities.
- Oversee the execution of visual merchandising standards across all retail locations in the region to ensure a consistent and appealing brand presentation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful visual displays that enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Manage the allocation of merchandise to stores based on sales performance, market trends, and seasonal demands.
- Monitor inventory levels and provide recommendations for reorders or markdowns to optimize stock levels.
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandising professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge in merchandising best practices.
About the Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing a team.
- Proficiency in merchandising software and Microsoft Office Suite.
