Regional Key Account Manager

Our client is an established international logistics and freight forwarding organization with a strong presence across Asia and key global trade lanes. The business manages a diverse portfolio of multinational customers and continues to expand its strategic account management capabilities across the Greater China region.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of regional and global key accounts across Hong Kong and China markets.
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and act as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts.
  • Drive account growth through business development, cross-border opportunities, and new service offerings.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market intelligence, customer insights, and existing networks.
  • Monitor account performance and ensure revenue, volume, and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Coordinate closely with pricing, product, and operational teams to support customer requirements and new trade lane development.
  • Support RFQ, RFI, and tender activities in collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Analyse customer trends, competitor activities, and market intelligence to support long-term account strategies.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and lead strategic business reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare account plans, forecasts, presentations, and business development reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or logistics solutions sales.
  • Strong understanding of LCL (Less-than-Container Load) services; broader exposure to FCL and multimodal logistics is advantageous.
  • Experience managing regional or global key accounts across Greater China markets.
  • Exposure to both Hong Kong and Mainland China business environments, either through direct market coverage or cross-border account management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success in customer development, commercial negotiation, and account growth.
  • Experience supporting tenders, RFQs, and strategic customer proposals.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
  • Willingness to travel within the Greater China region when required.
