Regional Financial Controller

Our client is well established manufacturer with regional hub in Hong Kong. They are currently seeking for a commercially astute Finance Controller to lead their regional finance team. This role is based in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the CFO with dotted line to the General Manager and the Board, you will lead a team of finance & accounting staff. This is a hands on role where you will work closely with operations, gaining thorough understanding of the various business units and operations, their value chains and key drivers. You will provide robust support to the commercial strategies and operational plans, taking a hands on approach to managing the financials from costing to business analysis. As part of the finance leadership team, you will help drive the commercials and the full Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. This role will provide ample exposure to the c-suite where your contributions will have significant impact on the business.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Degree holder and qualified accountant
• Minimum 15 years of financial management experiences
• Proven track record in leading a successful finance team
• Exposure to the Manufacturing sector is essential
• Familiar with HK and PRC accounting and taxation policies is highly preferred
• Ability to travel to Southern China once permitted
• Excellent command of both English and Chinese
