Regional Business Development Director - Print Production

Job description

Our client is a fast growing print production business and they are now seeking a senior business development professional to lead their regional team and drive revenue growth.
The role suits a commercially driven leader with strong key account management experience and industry knowledge who can convert complex production capabilities into compelling client solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional key account growth strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Lead negotiations and close complex, solution-based print production deals
  • Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with key regional clients and partners
  • Identify new markets, segments, and strategic partnerships for expansion
  • Collaborate closely with production, operations, and procurement teams to ensure commercially viable and deliverable solutions
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform go-to-market strategies
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Support and mentor business development team members where applicable


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10-15+ years of commercial experience within print production, packaging, POS, or related production services
  • Proven regional business development or sales leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of print manufacturing processes, costing, and supply chain dynamics
  • Demonstrated success in winning and growing strategic client accounts
  • Excellent commercial judgment, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to sell value-added solutions rather than commoditised products
  • Experience working across multiple markets and cultures within a region
  • Strong English and Chinese communication skills are essential
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region
