QA Specialist

Our client is a multi‑brand consumer products group supplying innovative automotive accessories, home products, and consumer electronics to international markets, with a strong focus on the United States. The Hong Kong office serves as a regional quality and product development hub, working closely with factories and third‑party laboratories to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end‑to‑end quality assurance activities including product testing, certification, and inspection coordination
  • Ensure testing schedules, certification submissions, and QA documentation are completed accurately and on time
  • Review technical files, test reports, and compliance documents against applicable international safety standards
  • Coordinate closely with Product Development, Engineering, and Packaging teams on quality or safety risks impacting launch timelines
  • Proactively identify, assess, and escalate major or critical quality issues to senior QA stakeholders
  • Liaise directly with external testing laboratories and suppliers to coordinate test requirements and resolve technical questions
  • Analyse quality data to identify defect trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain structured QA records to support audits, traceability, and internal reporting
  • Support factory and supplier follow‑up for quality issues where required

Requirements:

  • Strong preference for candidates with hands‑on experience in hnadling electrical products in testing laboratories or with third‑party labs (e.g. SGS, TUV, ITS)
  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related disciplines)
  • >2 years of relevant QA experience
  • Experience of working in a brand/ buying offive/ trading company
  • Solid understanding of international safety standards and certification schemes, especially for electrical or consumer products
  • Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Willing to travel to factories in Mainland China and South East Asia (Cambodia/Thailand/Vietnam) once in a quarter
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered at Assistant level
