Programme Lead - Public Health

Our client is a well-established organisation in Hong Kong involved in the planning and delivery of public health-related programmes in partnership with external organisations.

The role supports programmes that integrate public health practice, applied analysis, and coordinated delivery, and requires experience working in structured institutional environments with responsibility for managing objectives, timelines, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the identification of priority public health and community issues through data review, background research, and stakeholder consultation.
  • Assist in programme planning and development, including defining objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and implementation arrangements.
  • Coordinate programme implementation across internal teams and external collaborating organisations.
  • Monitor programme progress against agreed milestones and performance indicators, and flag risks or implementation issues as needed.
  • Support budget monitoring and basic financial tracking in line with approved plans.
  • Liaise with partner organisations, service providers, and collaborators to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Prepare programme documentation, progress updates, briefs, and reports for internal review and stakeholder reference.
  • Contribute to programme review and refinement activities based on operational experience, data, and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Health Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in universities, research institutes, public-sector-related or statutory environments, healthcare organisations, or structured programme settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in programme or project coordination, preferably related to public health, healthcare, or community-facing initiatives.
  • Experience working on multi-party or cross-organisation programmes is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, timelines, and programme budgets.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, briefs, or working-level documentation.
  • Ability to operate effectively in structured, professional environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of public health and societal issues, with a practical and methodical approach to programme delivery.
