Product Designer

Job description

Our client is an international product solutions provider serving global premium brands within the travel and lifestyle sector. The business specialises in consumer‑focused product design, combining functionality, materials innovation, and sustainability. The Hong Kong team operates in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment with close exposure to suppliers and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Support product design and development across amenity kits, bags, and packaging products
  • Create 2D and 3D design visuals to communicate concepts, construction, and proportions
  • Use CLO to develop 3D samples, visualise designs, and reduce physical sampling cycles
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and measurement details for sampling and production
  • Assist in material selection, sourcing, and development with a focus on durability and sustainability
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external factories to support sampling and development progress
  • Review samples, track revisions, and support problem‑solving during development stages
  • Maintain organised design and development documentation across multiple projects
  • Support presentations and internal reviews with clear visual and technical outputs
  • Stay curious about new materials, construction methods, and product trends

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or related discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in product, fashion, or accessory design preferred
  • Hands‑on experience using CLO for 3D sampling and product visualisation
  • Solid understanding of construction, materials, and technical specifications
  • Exposure to product development workflows and factory communication
  • Experience with denim, woven products, accessories, or soft goods is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive, adaptable, and open to learning new product categories (e.g. bags, packaging)
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative working style
  • Proficiency in English; Cantonese and Mandarin are advantages
