Procurement Manager

Our client is a leading consumer products business with a strong presence in the food and beverage sector. Supporting both owned brands and strategic product partnerships, the company operates a dynamic supply chain network and continues to invest in product innovation, manufacturing partnerships, and procurement excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support business growth, product launches, and operational requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, contract manufacturers, and strategic partners.
  • Manage supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract reviews to achieve optimal cost, quality, and service performance.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of beverage or food co-packers to support manufacturing flexibility and capacity planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support new product development and commercialization projects.
  • Oversee procurement of raw materials and packaging materials while maintaining healthy inventory levels.
  • Support regional sourcing initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders on supplier development programs.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or supply continuity.
  • Manage import and export procurement activities and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Drive supplier performance improvements across quality, delivery, innovation, and commercial metrics.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Category Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • >8 years of procurement experience within FMCG, food, beverage, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and sourcing activities.
  • Strong preference for candidates with existing networks among beverage co-packers, food co-packers, OEM manufacturers, or major retail chains.
  • Sound knowledge of import/export operations and supply chain processes.
  • Proven commercial negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
