Officer to Assistant Manager, Payment Operation

Our client is a reputable organisation looking to hire an Accounting Officer to support its payment function within a structured and professional finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily bank balances and investigate any unusual transactions.
  • Handle vendor payments, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Ensure all payments are properly approved, accurate, and settled on time.
  • Manage staff reimbursements and expense claim processing.
  • Perform regular bank and payment reconciliations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external banks on payment‑related matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, payment operations, or treasury functions.
  • Familiar with payment workflows and internal control procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Well‑organised, responsible, and able to work independently under deadlines.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and external banks.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting / banking systems.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
