Manager, Grant Administration & Operation (Philanthropy)

We are partnering with one of Hong Kong's most prestigious heritage organizations and a globally recognized charitable trust. We are seeking a highly organized Manager to join their Philanthropy division. This role requires a strong foundation in Finance and Accounting to oversee the financial mechanics of philanthropic grants. You will manage daily charities payment duties, monitor the end-to-end funding application process, and ensure that community capital is deployed smoothly, accurately, and compliantly.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the end-to-end grant application process, ensuring all proposals move efficiently through the internal funding pipeline.
  • Execute charities payment duties, processing scheduled grant disbursements and milestone funding releases accurately.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external applicants, guiding them through application requirements, project timelines, and strict financial compliance standards.
  • Leverage your finance and accounting background to review submitted project budgets, reconcile fund utilizations, and audit post-grant financial reports.
  • Collaborate closely with internal funding committees to proactively resolve any bottlenecks in the application, reporting, or payment phases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Finance, or a related discipline. (Professional qualifications such as CPA/ACCA are advantageous).
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in grant administration, fund accounting, program operations, or corporate philanthropy.
  • Direct experience handling payment processing, fund disbursements, or financial reporting within a major foundation, university, or large-scale charity is highly preferred.
  • Solid stakeholder and project management skills, with the ability to communicate financial requirements clearly to external partners.
  • Full professional fluency in spoken and written Cantonese and English.
