Learning and Organisation Development Lead

Job description

Our client is a well established Retail Bank with Hong Kong as their headquarter. They are currently seeking for a team leader for their Learning and Organisation Development function. This position is based in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead a small team and oversee all Learning and Development Programmes for around 2000 headcounts all locally based. You will collaborate with business leaders and design appropriate programmes for their major markets. One of your remits is to design and oversee the Leadership Programme, managing the talent pipeline for the company. In addition to understanding the company's strategy and five- year plan, you will stay updated with latest products, industry trends and evaluate knowledge gaps and implement training modules as appropriate. Being the go-to expert on all T&D matters, you will provide recommendations and training solutions to operations. This is a highly visible role where you will be exposed to all parts of the business especially the front line, and interact with various stakeholders on a regular basis.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 years of Learning & Organisation Development experience
  • Prior experience in a Financial Services/ Banking Organisations is essential
  • Strong team player yet independent, and strong project management skills
  • Articulate, exceptional presentation and influencing skills
  • Excellent in both written and spoken Chinese and English
