Knowledge Graph Analyst, Banking, 80k

A leading bank is looking for a detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to connect business experts with the engineering team. This role focuses on building and validating a Knowledge Graph derived from complex policy and procedure documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and usability for business queries.

Job Duties:

  • Work with SMEs to define and refine ontology structures (entities, relationships, schemas)
  • Validate extracted data from unstructured documents to ensure alignment with business intent and regulations
  • Perform testing to identify data inconsistencies, duplication, and logic gaps2. Technical Liaison & Requirements
  • Act as the bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders
  • Translate technical design into clear business requirements and vice versa
  • Document data flows, business rules, and mapping logic for data pipelines
  • Develop and execute test cases for graph queries (e.g., SPARQL, Cypher)
  • Validate query results against source policies for accuracy and relevance
  • Support UAT sessions and incorporate SME feedback to improve outputs

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in Business Analysis, Technical BA, or Data Analysis (financial services preferred)
  • Understanding of ontologies, RDF/OWL, or graph data models
  • Familiarity with query languages (SPARQL, Cypher, or SQL)
  • Ability to read data models and technical documentation
  • Exposure to AI/LLM outputs and data extraction issues is a plus
  • Banking policies or regulatory processes preferred
  • Experience with graph platforms (e.g., Neo4j, GraphDB, Protege)
  • Strong communication with ability to simplify technical concepts
  • Goood command of Chinese and English
