We are partnering with a leading HKEX-listed real estate developer to hire a Junior Legal Counsel. This high-profile position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain direct mentorship from the Group General Counsel while executing prestigious commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive legal advice and support across various business functions under the guidance of the Group General Counsel.
Draft, review, and negotiate an extensive array of commercial agreements and operational contracts.
Advise on transactional matters including corporate acquisitions, asset disposals, joint ventures, and first-hand property sales actions.
Manage corporate governance, listing rule compliance obligations, and ongoing interim, annual, and ESG reporting requirements.
Coordinate effectively with external legal counsel and internal business units to facilitate seamless transaction execution.
Maintain and optimize the internal contract database to systematically mitigate corporate legal risks.
Requirements:
Hong Kong qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Solid corporate commercial or real estate practice background gained from a reputable law firm or listed company.
Proven expertise in drafting, structuralizing, and negotiating complex commercial and transactional documents.
Strong commercial acumen with a thorough understanding of listed corporate and property development business operations.
Professional fluency in English and Chinese (written corporate documentation, spoken Cantonese, and Mandarin) is essential.
