IT Helpdesk Specialist - Bank (Perm; 20-25K)

Job description

My client is a leading global financial institution with strong business in Hong Kong. It has over 30,000 employees over the world and over 50-year history.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and address issues and needs around desktop (Windows, O365 etc.) and infrastructure (compute, network, enterprise systems, cybersecurity etc.)
  • Follow ITIL/Service Management policies and procedures
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecoms equipment
  • Solve technical problems associated with hardware (PCs, Macs, mobile, etc.), software, and services (video conferencing, remote access, etc.)
  • Administer WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and access control

Requirements:

  • Diploma in computer science, information systems or relevant to IT
  • 2 years of IT experience in financial services sector; open to both in-house and vendor experience
  • Experienced in help desk support and technical assistance to staff
  • Good knowledge on computer hardware, systems and software applications
  • Good communication in Chinese and English; Cantonese is a must
