Internal Control & Compliance Director

Our client is a solid and expanding manufacturer with plants in Asia and Greater China. They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Internal Control professional to join their team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the CFO, this is an individual contributor role covering the APAC markets on Internal Control and Risk Management activities. Interfacing with each market and the country finance leaders, you will drive and manage the control programmes and the risk framework; ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are in place and being observed, as well as deploying Business Continuity Plans for the Group. Conducting risk assessment and management on a regular basis on operational and transactional processes, you will play a key role in implementing and enabling an effective and efficient reporting framework for the operations with aligned practices.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Degree holder and qualified accountant
• Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a regional role
• Expert knowledge in Internal Control and Compliance matters gained in MNCs
• Result oriented, fast paced and proactive approach
• Excellent communicator and problem solver
• Ability to travel around Asia when permitted
• Excellent English and Chinese is essential
