Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing IT Onsite operations and support to the internal users in a fast paced financial business environment
  • Maintain a stable desktop infrastructure and deliver consistency IT services
  • Responsible for handling day-to-day events and incidents with proper incident management process applied in order to meet the service level defined by IT management
  • Supervise local vendors on delivering IT support services
  • Responsible for executing certain deployment activities to ensure new/changes to applications are carried out in production and DR environments
  • Providing support and administration for
    o Server & Hub rooms
    o Physical cabling
    o Servers Monitoring
    o Storage, backup and data replication system support
    o Certain Networks knowledge
    o End user computing (including desktops, laptops, Blackberry, mobile solutions)
    o 3rd party systems and market data systems like Bloomberg, MarketMap

Professional and Technical

  • Tertiary education in IT related areas
  • At least 3 years working experience in a client-facing IT helpdesk environment
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Desktop environment (Windows 7 & 10), with basic understanding of MS Server environment (Server 2008) and Active Directory
  • Broad understanding of networking protocols and administration
