Head of Compliance

Our client, a corporate/retail banking group, is looking for a Head of Compliance for their team.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of around 10 staff to assist with their regulatory/central compliance duties

Provide compliance advisory services to the Bank and keep abreast regulatory developments

Handle compliance related enquiries from regulators and auditors

Monitor compliance status and provide regular updates to Senior Management

Assess training needs and provide compliance training to other staff of Bank

Requirements:

University degree in a related discipline

Hands on banking and financial sectors knowledge on laws, regulations etc

Minimum 10 years of working experience in compliance, audit or legal, within a recognized financial institution

Sound knowledge of relevant rules, codes etc

Excellent commands of written and spoken English/Chinese
