Global Project Manager

Our client is a global engineering solutions provider specialising in high‑precision automation equipment for advanced manufacturing industries. With a strong international customer base, the business supports large‑scale production environments and works closely with leading electronics manufacturing ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle project management for complex automation or capital equipment programs
• Define project scope, timeline, milestones, and resource allocation plans
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, procurement, and production
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout project execution
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine DFM and technical documentation
• Track project progress using structured tools and ensure alignment with milestones
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans to ensure delivery commitments
• Ensure project deliverables meet required quality and technical standards
• Manage project cost, budget tracking, and reporting

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in equipment, automation, or manufacturing environments
• Strong technical understanding of automation systems or manufacturing processes
• Experience supporting high‑volume electronics manufacturing projects is highly preferred
• Candidates with exposure to leading electronics OEM / EMS environments (e.g. large contract manufacturers) are strongly preferred
• Proven track record managing cross‑functional teams and customer‑facing projects
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Frequent travel/ Based in Shenzhen (BaoAn) is expected. Accommodation support in Shenzhen can be arranged if required.
