About our client and the opportunity :

Our client is a prestigious global employer and a reputable consumer electronics brand with an origin in Europe. This is a Global Marketing Manager role newly created to develop strategy, process and procedure for international markets (Europe, US and Asia).

Currently there are 30+ marketers worldwide specialized in branding, product marketing, customer experience, digital and e-commerce. Each market has different practice and assets according to different product roadmap and launches. While our client is scaling up the business, they are looking for a global marketer strong in global branding and Asia e-commerce reporting to the Global Sales Director dotted line to the Global Head of Marketing.

In particular, you will

1) Boost e-trade performance :

  • Develop a system-based approach to e-trade (to set up efficient processes), notably re: content syndication
  • Build up yearly plan to equip all key launches with the appropriate e-trade assets
  • Build a solid partnership with local distributor to identify marketing budget, develop requirements and ensure local relevance of all marketing assets
  • Develop global templates for A+ product pages and work in partnership with the Marketing Communication team to create all required assets
  • Create a global framework and process to boost our ratings & reviews on all key platforms
  • Identify opportunities to get our products in top-sellers ranking on e-tailer platforms in order to drive up-sale and bundling
  • Identify and improve digital shopper journey
  • Define & implement omni-channel approach in partnership with local distributor
  • Move from an once-off sales approach to bundling, upselling and re-purchasing by leveraging CRM, working closely with the key markets
  • Help maximize online share and profitability (in partnership with local sales office)
  • Particular focus on turning e-shop into a high traffic/high rotation/high profitablity e-commerce platform

2) Digital Marketing

In cooperation with global digital teams and in line with global guidelines,

  • Set up the most adapted strategies, tools & processes in order to grow expertise and effectiveness in the area of digital marketing (scope paid, owned, earned) in order to lead to commercial results and optimize market position and shares
  • Support APAC digital teams to maximize the exposure of products & brands on-line
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate online to consumers/shoppers
  • Develop/implement online communications strategies, programs, contents in line with commercial objectives
  • Manage overall online media efficiency for each digital campaign
  • Develop on-line to off-line strategies and 'integrated' retailer campaigns

To qualify, you will have :

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Digital marketing/ e-commerce or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years digital marketing and e-commerce experiences from international brands, inhoused preferred
  • Broad digital marketing knowledge and experience of managing commercial relationships / accounts in the on line world
  • Proven experience in holistic digital marketing project management
  • Good understanding of marketing & communication challenges
  • Strong ability to influence and drive change, with both assertiveness and teamwork spirit
  • Collaborative approach: ability to gather around the table a diverse group of functional experts and make them collaborate - from supply chain to marketing to finance
