FP&A Consultant (45K -80K)

  Our client is a well known financial services company. To cope with their expansion in Hong Kong, they are now inviting high caliber candidates to join their team as a Finance Analyst.
  
  Job Responsibilities
• Offer support to Banking and Capital Markets (Financial Institutions Group, Corporate Banking Group, Mergers & Acquisition and Debt Capital Markets)
• Complete monthly APAC management hierarchy reviews and communicate update (if any) to Central FP&A team including identification of new cost centers and changes in structure
• Fulfill ad-hoc requests, key regional deliverables, new initiatives and projects
• Understand, manage and simplify complex regional management reporting hierarchy
• Improve Direct Cost Reporting and Forecasting to increase efficiency of cost
• Monitor actual headcount to detailed HR database forecast
• Provide detailed variance analysis to actuals and prior forecast
• Develop processes and infrastructure controls to ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant Wells Fargo's policies and procedures. This includes representing Finance teams in various projects, activities and forums
• Ensure all models & EUCT are identified and documentation complete including identification of key controls to mitigate risk of errors
  
  Requirements
• Banking or Financial sector industry experience required (5+ years)
• University degree (or equivalent) and professionally qualified accountant with 6+ years of accounting or management reporting experience
• Progressive track record of management reporting experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give presentations and briefings
• Creative and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to analyze business transactions and identify key Finance risks/mitigating controls, combined with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and the ability to work under pressure and maintain high energy levels
• Must be able to work independently with positive collaboration within a fast paced, team environment
