Equity Application Developer, ibank, 60k

Our client is a leading investment bank. This role focuses on the development, enhancement, and support of in‑house front‑office and middle‑office systems. You will work closely with business users and internal IT teams to deliver stable, efficient, and high‑quality technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance equity middle‑office and back‑office applications
• Design and maintain ETL workflows and batch jobs for trade and static data
• Support and enhance SSIS packages, scheduled jobs, and system interfaces
• Build and maintain Excel / VBA tools for trading and operations users
• Provide daily production (BAU) support for equity trading systems
• Investigate and resolve incidents, data issues, and system errors
• Work with traders, operations, and regional teams to gather requirements
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors where required
• Prepare system documentation and support testing and releases
• Participate in early‑shift or off‑hours support on a rotational basis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• 3+ years of relevant development or system support experience
• Experience in banking, securities, insurance, or other large enterprise environments is preferred
• Strong hands‑on experience with C# / .NET or JAVA
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with ETL, batch processing, or data integration
• Familiarity with SSIS, scheduled jobs, or similar tools
• Experience supporting production / BAU systems
• Fluent in Cantonese and English
