About our client and the opportunity :

Our client is a sizable conglomerate that values innovation and agility. A new role was created to roll out Design Thinking program across BUs reporting to a board member. In particular, you will:


* Be an advocate for design culture and efforts to integrate design thinking into the organization, leading teams and building relationships across the firm
* Drive culture change through design thinking concepts while setting the bar for innovation throughout the organization
* Manage and motivate a diverse organization that works together to deliver great experiences that yield business results through design thinking execution
* Co own Change Management Program and work with Change Lead to deliver company communications as required
* Manage program governance and meet with stakeholders to ensure program is meeting its objectives
* Ensure on time and effective training and applications for different types of curriculum to hit program's intended training goals and design thinking practical usage
* Track and drive progress of design thinking training, projects execution and all milestones with regular reports to executive committee.
* Work with IT or 3rd party resources to develop Design Thinking portal to manage program content, accreditation system and trained roster

To qualify, you will have :
* Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in a design and engineering environment with a focus on leading design teams and process and user experience improvement projects
* Expertise in a broad range of user experience design solutions and their business application
* Must have formal training/experience in human-centered design, design thinking, and/or Agile/Scrum development process
* Ability to synthesize information and proactively creatively solve problems, enhance the organization, and improve operational efficiencies
* Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of colleagues, influencing them to deliver their very best work
* Proven ability to align a team and business stakeholders behind a user-focused vision and deliver measurable results against plans
* Fluent in the vernacular of interactive technology and able to successfully collaborate with technology teams
* Ability to multitask and prioritize high-volume workload based on workflow dependencies, competing business initiatives, management demands and time constraints
* Experience with other complex, intangible products is highly relevant
* Excellent oral, presentation, communication and influential skills
