Data Engineer & Modeler (Luxury Retail)

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer & Data Modeler to deliver enterprise-grade data models and data pipelines on a modern analytics platform.

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas)
  • Build and optimise Spark/PySpark pipelines on Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
  • Develop complex SQL for transformation, validation, and aggregation
  • Implement data quality checks, CI/CD, and metadata documentation
  • Optimise performance and manage compute cost efficiency
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in data engineering and data modeling
  • Strong Spark / PySpark and advanced SQL expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric
  • Solid understanding of data quality, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
  • Strong ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills
