Communications Lead - Investment Bank

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute media relations activities across Asia Pacific in partnership with external PR agencies and global communications teams.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and corporate announcements.
  • Manage press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and responses to journalist enquiries.
  • Research, develop, and produce external communications content, including client newsletters, thought leadership pieces, executive communications, and market commentary.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and product teams to promote key initiatives, transactions, and strategic developments through various communication channels.
  • Support the preparation of speeches, presentations, and external messaging for senior executives.
  • Manage and produce regular APAC internal communications, including newsletters, articles, announcements, and executive messages.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives through compelling and timely internal content.
  • Manage and maintain APAC website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with corporate messaging.
  • Develop and execute social media content strategies to enhance brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify and implement new digital communication tools and content projects.
  • Maintain and update regional marketing materials, brochures, and corporate collateral.
  • Partner with business and support functions to develop content for campaigns, presentations, marketing materials, advertisements, and internal communications.
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging and communication standards across all channels.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or Editorial Communications, either in-house or within an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking and financial services, with APAC market exposure preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content development skills with native-level English proficiency.
  • Proven experience managing media relations, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Comfortable working with senior executives and managing multiple stakeholders across a matrix organization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Additional language skills in Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin), French, or other Asian languages would be advantageous.
